Localised operates community-led resource recovery facilities that divert waste from landfill and keep materials in circulation for longer. At these facilities, a range of inorganic materials are sorted, repaired and on-sold.

Localised has been operating since 2019 and has fast become a leader in the sector due to its strategic partnerships with community organisations, councils and businesses who work together to reduce waste.

In FY24 we began partnering with Localised to help them realise their ambition to increase the number of community-led resource recovery sites. In the last year they have added more sites to their resource recovery network, increased the amount of waste diverted from landfill, and continue to grow financially to support the national zero waste movement.
